Here at River Run Chicken Farm in Southwest Virginia, we are a small hobby breeder of Heritage Plymouth Barred Rock, White Leghorns & prize winning Silkies. We offer farm-fresh eggs for your table, as well as chicks and fertilized eggs to grow your own hobby farm. We’re NPIP certified and able to ship or meet at local sales.

Bio-security is taken seriously, being NPIP certified we are tested through the Department of Agriculture regularly.
Our chickens are not open to the general public like the large farm supply stores are. We do not allow visitors to handle chicks unless the decision to purchase has been made. Current chicken owners will not be allowed inside our coops to prevent potential contamination.
Even though we have security measures in place, we still highly recommend you observe a 4-7day quarantine period before introducing new birds to existing flocks.

This year we are doing pre-paid orders on request.  When we receive your order we will send you a paypal invoice that you can reply to. We will have your chicks available in 21 days.  
Most Chicks are $5 each. 
Some prize Silkies will be more.
