We started many years ago with a few chickens for personal use. Our love for our girls has lead to a passion for breeding healthy strong and friendly family chickens. We began with a few Heritage Barred Rock for the nice eggs produced for personal use. We then branched out to Golden Comets, Cochins, and Silkies because of their personalities and egg-laying ability.
We then were drawn to the beauty and rare qualities of the Ayan Cemani. The unique black features, even black meat, of the Ayan Cemani caught our interest and wanted to add a few to our flock.
